About Members

Mr. Santosh Kumar

Mr. Kumar received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication from the Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India. He is pursuing his PhD from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is working in the area of optical fiber communication. His research interest is inhomogeneous/non-uniform optical waveguides. He has published papers in reputed journals as well as in conferences, including the IEEE. Mr. Kumar is a member IEEE, SPIE and OSA. He is reviewer of Optical Engineering (SPIE), Applied Optics (OSA) and Optics Letters (OSA) Journal. He is a founder member and President of Indian School of Mines, OSA Student Chapter.

Mr. Dharmendra Kumar

Mr. Kumar received B.Tech from IET MJP Rohilkhand University Bareilly, U.P. and Master of Technology (M.Tech) from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India in area of Electronics & Communication Engg., in year 2009 and 2011 and is currently pursuing Ph.D. Degree in the department of Electronic Engineering at Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. His areas of research are Nano-photonics, nanoelectronics, Semiconductor Nanostructure.

 Mr. Santosh Kumar Choudhary     

Mr. Choudhary received a bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Telecommunication engineering from The Institution of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (IETE), New Delhi, India in 2009. He is pursuing his Ph.D from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. He is working in the area of Si/SiGe heterojuction solar cell. His research interest is modelling and designing of thin film solar cells. He has published some papers in SCI journals as well as in conferences. Mr. Choudhary is an active member of IEEE, OSA and Associate member of IETE. He is a founder member and Secretary of Indian School of Mines, OSA Student Chapter.

Mr. Ajay Kumar

Mr. Kumar received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and instrumentation engineering from National Institute of Science and Technology, Berhampur, Orissa, India, and a master’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, India. He is pursuing his PhD from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is working in the area of optical fiber communication. He is a member of IEEE and OSA.  

Mr. Jitendra Kumar Mishra

Mr. Mishra received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, Madhaya Pradesh, India and a Master’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from National Institute of Technology, Durgapur, India. He is pursuing his PhD from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is working in the area of optical fiber communication. His research interest is Microwave Photonics. He has published papers in reputed journals as well as in conferences, including the IEEE. Mr. Mishra is a member of IEEE and OSA . He is a founder member and Vice-President of Indian School of Mines, OSA Student Chapter.

Mr. Bhanu P. S. Dohare

Mr. Dohare received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, India in 2008 and master’s degree (M.Tech) in Microelectronics & VLSI Design from S.G.S.I.T.S. Indore, India in 2010. He is pursuing his PhD from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is working in the area of optoelectronics materials specially on electronics and thermal properties of some semiconducters. He has published some papers in journals as well as in conferences. Mr. Dohare is a active member of OSA. He is reviewer of IETE journal.

 Mr. Vikram Palodiya

Mr. Palodiya received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering from Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya, Bhopal, Madhaya Pradesh, India and a master’s degree (M.Tech) in Microelectronics & VLSI Design from Shri G.S.Institute of Technology and Science Indore, Madhaya Pradesh, India in 2011. He is pursuing his PhD from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. He is working in the area of optical fiber communication. His research interest is Designing of Optoelectronics Devices specially on semiconductor optical amplifier. He has published some papers in journals as well as in conferences. Mr. Palodiya is a active member of IEEE and OSA. He is a founder member and Treasurer of Indian School of Mines, OSA Student Chapter.

Mr. Prakash Pareek

Mr. Pareek received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and communication engineering    from Rajasthan University, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India and a master’s degree (M.Tech) in Optoelectronics (Specialization-Optical Communication) from Shri G. S. Institute of Technology and Science Indore, Madhaya Pradesh, India in 2009 and 2012 respectively. He is pursuing his PhD from the department of electronics engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India. He is working in the area of optoelectronic devices. He has published some papers in journals as well as in conferences Mr. Pareek is an active member of IEEE and OSA. He is a founder member and chair of organizational member of Indian School of Mines, OSA Student Chapter.

Mr. Sumit Jindal

Mr. Jindal received a bachelor’s degree in electronics and instrumentation engineering from Dhaneswar Rath Institute of  Engineering & Management Studies, Cuttack, Orissa, India. He is pursuing his PhD from the Department of Electronics Engineering, Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He is working in the area of MOEMS. He is a member of IEEE and OSA.
